Gresham Motorsport Parks Readies for World Crown 2010

GreshLightGresham Motorsports Park, is in the final stages of preparation for the 26th Annual world Crown 300 event on November 13th – 15th. Regular Open Test Sessions are very busy with racers preparing for the big 3 day event.

The Inis Wireless Lights System ensures that at all times the drivers are informed of track status, with one light visible at all times. The System has been a great help in the safety imitative of Gresham Motorsports Park General Manager Dan Elliott who says “The state-of-the-art Inis system is completely wireless and solar powered. The Inis warning light system has several advantages, when the yellow caution lights come on, the system automatically closes pit road on entry and opens it on pit exit,”

“In addition the system also automatically cues the lights on the Pace Car – either yellow or red - depending on track conditions. We can do all that with the push of a wireless remote control button on the flagstand. Inis can monitor the system here at GMP back in Ireland through a remote system located in our tech center. It’s just so neat, I’ve never seen anything else like it.”

Rick Milano Head of US Operations for Inis Motorsport Ltd, added “Our partnership with Dan Elliott and his team Gresham Motorsports Park has already brought benefit to the facility, I believe moving forward we can build on this and bring more”

Gresham Motorsports Park will reopen after a 10-month total renovation with the 26th-Annual World Crown 300 November 13-15. The three-day racing spectacular will open Friday, November 13 with the first-ever appearance of the INEX/600 Racing Series. Legends, Bandoleros and Thunder Roadsters. Tickets for this inaugural GMP event are just $10 for adults.
