Gresham Motorsports Park, a half-mile asphalt oval located just outside Jefferson, GA, has entered an agreement with Inis Motorsport to install a wireless safety lighting system as part of a total facility renovation. Inis will supply and install a full track and pit light system allowing wireless control from the race tower and flag stand. Gresham Motorsports Park will reopen with the 26th-Annual World Crown 300, November 12-15, 2009.
Dan Elliott, General Manager at the facility, was impressed with the Inis System following an onsite demonstration by Rick Milano, Inis Motorsport’s Head of US Operations. Dan commented “The portable nature of the Inis Wireless & Solar powered system means that both the larger oval and smaller legend track can be catered for with the Inis system”.
Gresham Motorsports Park originally opened as Jefco Speedway with a NASCAR Late Model Sportsman (now Nationwide) race in 1967, and has served the auto racing community for more than 40 years.
