Short History of Inis Motorsport Ltd

Founded with the intent of offering business technology solutions to motorsport related businesses, Inis quickly identified a market for fully integrated computerized track management, safety and timing systems. Since  2004, Inis has offered an integrated family of proprietary hardware and software products and established its name in the motorsport market as a leading supplier of track management systems.

Inis has a stated long-term goal of being “The Management System of Choice for Sports & Leisure Entertainment Centres” and to date over 100 race tracks throughout the world agree and use Inis products to manage everyday operations.

Based out of a dedicated 1500sq ft building in the Rockgrove Industrial Area of Cork, Ireland, Inis Motorsport Ltd also has a distribution and service center in Portland OR, USA, to serve North American customers.  Inis designs, manufactures, supplies, installs, and supports it's own product set, providing a one stop shop for it's customers across Europe and the USA.

Peter O’Doherty - Founder & CEO

Previously employed as Operations Director and most recently as Sales Director of Seabrook Research Ltd, an indigenous Irish ERP consultancy, Peter has a wealth of experience in IT projects, both large and small scale. Peter remained a Non-Executive Director of Seabrook for 3 years following the founding of Inis Motorsport in November 2004. Peter has been involved in motorsport, both commercially and as a competitor, for over 16 years.  

Brian Jordan - Product Engineering Manager

Holding an Honours Degree in Engineering from Oxford University. Brian has worked with Inis Motorsport Ltd since the beginning of the Hardware development project and has been responsible for developing the range of integrated products now available from Inis.
